OVERVIEW

The Advanta ATX-850 is an all terrain, all weather tire made for light trucks and SUVs. Advanta offers a 50,000 mile treadwear warranty with this tire.

The ideal tread design and the strong rubber compound improve all terrain performance. The aggressive tread pattern, with the large elements, strongly grips the road and terrain surface at all times. These elements follow the driving surface with extra biting edges and keep the tire's forward motion. At the same time, the footprint can easily handle soft, loose, and uneven terrain surfaces, which guarantees the tire's safe on- and off-road performance.

The model enhances overall controllability. The aggressive tread pattern's close surface contact increases steering responsiveness and driving stability. The steering response time is faster and more precise to the driver's commands, while the structure is secured against driving pressure. Large tread elements and their strong grip upgrade cornering and maneuvering. This combination gives the driver excellent control over the vehicle, promoting a safe driving experience.

Great all weather performance is also promoted with this model. The aggressive tread design and the compound improve traction in dry, wet, and winter conditions. This model can easily handle snow- and ice-covered roads as well. Also, the all weather compound keeps the rubber flexible in different temperatures, while the wide grooves resist hydroplaning. These grooves eliminate water and slush from the footprint and improve wet-weather performance.

All weather tires receive the three mountain peak and snowflake (3PMS) symbol for their exceptional winter weather performance. They are all season tires with extra winter weather grip, in order to guarantee safer year-round durability. This ensures their true and secure driving ability throughout the year.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
