OVERVIEW
The Goodyear WinterCommand is a touring, winter tire manufactured for passenger vehicles, and SUVs.
The tires tread design and winter-focused compound work together to increase the winter weather gripping power. The directional tread design with the high-density siping pattern enhances the number of biting edges gripping the road surface during the tires performance. These sipes boost the ice and snow traction and ensure the tires forward motion at all times. The tire is also pinned for studs, which can be added to the tread area to further increase its ice and snow grip. The winter compound keeps the rubber flexibility in versatile weather conditions, enabling the tires secure winter weather performance. The treads wide circumferential and lateral grooves prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from below the footprint. This combination ensures the tires exceptional winter weather performing safety.
The tread designs directional pattern and flat footprint improve the tires road surface contact. This enables the tire to upgrade the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. The better road contact allows the tire to boost the steering responsiveness and accuracy to the drivers commands, while the structure is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting the model. The WinterCommand features reinforced internal structure. The steel belt and polyester casing construction helps maintain the ideal tire shape under the driving and load pressure. It prevents the tires deformation under the pressure, which improves the load carrying and withstanding ability and power. This significantly enhances the tires load capacity. The polyester casing also provides a comfortable driving experience. It ensures the tires close surface contact at all times, which enables the model to absorb the shock of driving.
